Today I'm going to be reviewing these Lime Crime Velvetines (£1.26) I found on eBay, I admittedly spend way too much of my time scrolling through eBay seeing if I can find anything worth buying, whilst trying not to make my bank account cry, and I stumbled across these liquid lipsticks. As they're only £1.26 I thought I'd might as well try them!

I can't say I'm a supporter of Lime Crime products (you can google the drama surrounding that brand if you wish), however I have heard good things about the velvetines so when I found these dupes I was quite exited. I ordered 12 of these liquid lipsticks but one didn't arrive (shade pansy, I got a refund all is well) and I've already managed to loose one! They took around three weeks to arrive, but the estimated delivery date what much later than that so I was happily suprised!

First off these liquid lipsticks are excellent value for money! The packaging is quite cute and they defiantly don't feel like I spent less than £2 on them! A few of the colours are go a bit streaky and take some building up but it's nothing worth complaining about.

They last for so long on the lips, I really didn't expect the wear to be as good as it is, however a downfall to these liquid lips is that they dry your lips out like nobodys business. After 2/3 hours of wearing these lipsticks your lips feel like could actually shrivel up and fall off, on the upside you can't tell by looking at them! The liquid lipsticks stay put and still look nice, so if you can deal with the dry feeling it doesn't make them unwearable.

I will say that, like with most liquid lipsticks, you do get the ring of doom on the centre of your lips and if you eat anything with oil in it the product does start to break down, so not ideal for meals out! I like to wear these for work when I'm doing weddings as I'm there for hours, I don't have time to be touching up my makeup and I also don't have time to eat so I don't have to worry about that haha

Over all I really like these liquid lipsticks, I would recommend giving them a go. If you just buy one to try the formula and don't like it you've only spent £1.26 on them so it's really not that bad! Let me know if you've tried these and what your favourite liquid lipstick brand is!
Thanks for reading,

I know I'm so late reviewing these, but the more I use it the more I love these highlighters and I just needed to share my love for them! This is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in 'That Glow' (£39.00), I would also like to add that these pictures are a few weeks old and this palette does not look like this anymore, Ive hit pan on both 'Sunburst' and 'Bubbly' and I'm very upset about it! haha

This palette comes with four shades and first off these pans are huge, I wasn't expecting them to be this big but I'm happily surprised! My favourites for my skin tone are 'sunburst' and 'bubbly' but the other shades are lovely as well, I like how this kit does have a variety of colours and works with multiple skin tones, I can just about get away with 'dripping in gold' with my natural skin tone but I have used 'golden bronze' when i've fake tanned and it looks so beautiful.

I like to apply 'bubbly' on the tops of my cheeks, nose, upper lip and centre of my forehead and concentrate 'sunburst' on the tops of my cheeks over the 'bubbly' shade and it creates such a lovely glow. It is quite dramatic but I personally like that, obviously you don't have to layer and create a full on glow you can use this palette to create subtle looks as well!

Overall I'm really happy with this palette and would defiantly buy more, the 'Sweets' glow kit looks amazing! I would say it is worth the money, compared to highlighters such as Champagne Pop by Becca x Jaclyn Hill (£30.57), you get a lot more product and personally I like the formula a lot more!
Let me know what you think about this palette, if you have it or want to try it! Thanks for reading,

I've seen this trick quite a lot on the internet and decided I wanted to give it a go! My Champagne Pop (£28.50) highlighter broke, so first of all I'm just going to say this highlighter should come with isopropyl alcohol it smashes so much, don't get me wrong its a great highlighter but everyone who i've spoken to who has it, its broken and its almost £30...
Anyway, with it being almost £30 I'm not throwing this away anytime soon, so I fixed it.

So all you have to do is crush your compact up even more, which is actually really satisfying to do, and then pour some isopropyl alcohol and mix it all up! Its so easy to do, my worry with doing this was if it was going to change the formula or the pigment of the product, however I'd completely given up on champagne pop for a hot minute so I didn't really care.

This process was surprisingly easy to do! I left it to dry over night and by the morning it was good as new, it didn't change anything about the formula of this product at all which is great! I do SFX makeup so I already had some IPA lying around, if you don't I would say its worth buying a small bottle because it really does work well!

I also did this with soft and gentle by MAC (£24.00) which smashed after my nephew decided it was a bouncy ball (it isn't), it was a little bit harder to do, it didn't mix quite as easily but it still worked, it just took a bit more time. Its such a good little trick that can save very expensive products! Overall would really recommend.

Thanks for reading,
NYX has been quite hard to get in the UK, but recently they've opened a counter in boots in Manchester and I am over the moon! I've heard so many great things about this brand and being drugstore products at good prices I was quite intrigued! Obviously the most talked about are their lip products and so far thats all I've tried (I did well not to get carried away haha).

First are the NYX butter glosses (£5.00), I have Creme Brûlée (top picture) and Fortune Cookie (bottom picture). I love these lip glosses, they're thicker than other glosses I own and have more of a colour pay off, I'd say they are more like a glossy liquid lipstick with how pigmented they are. I find they don't last ages but they fade nicely and for £5 who's complaining. The issue I have with these is if my lips are a tiny bit dry they don't apply well at all so I have to make sure my lips are exfoliated and moisturised before I wear these but it's not a big deal.

This is the NYX liquid suede (£6.50) in Stone Fox, they do have much more wearable shades in the collection but I love this colour! You do get quite an obvious 'ring of doom' around your lips but it's to be expected with grey! Also this lipstick does transfer quite a bit, I found it doesn't seem to dry 100%, that being said I don't find that this lipstick crumbles like a lot of other liquid lipsticks which is nice considering its only £6.50! Over all I do like the formula, but with a colour like this it does need frequent touch ups, but most statement colours do!

Last is the NYX soft lip creme (£5.50) in Copenhagen, these lip cremes last for ages! I can't fault them at all and this colour its gorgeous! These are one of the most talked about products and I can definitely see why, again like the liquid suede, this collection does have more wearable everyday shades that need less attention. This lip creme fades throughout the day with, eating, talking, drinking so it does need touch ups but I haven't ever looked in the mirror and though "what on earth has happened to my lips!" which has happened a few times before with cheaper liquid lipsticks! haha

Over all I do like these lip products and I would defiantly recommend them, you can get better liquid lipsticks (such as the Anastasia Beverly Hills ones) but for the price of these they are so worth the tiny bit of extra effort you put in to make them look perfect all day.

Thanks for reading,

Today I'm going to be reviewing the Lash Magnifique 3D Mink lashes, I found this company on instagram recently, I'm not sure if they're an instagram based company but thats where I found them!  They do eyelash extensions and also sell strip lashes.

I got the Champagne lashes,  these are £21.99 and I think around £24 including shipping, the shipping was so fast it took around 2 days which I was quite impressed with and the box they come in is really nice and really good quality.

The band on these lashes is quite thick so they do feel heavy, but they're also very full so it's kind of expected. I love false lashes and wear them all the time so they didn't bother me at all but I think if you're new to lashes they'd be way to heavy! But for someone who's used to a lot of volume I found them fairly comfy.

I found a discount code after I bought these lashes, which may have been a blessing in disguise as I was torn between two pairs, these and the Paris lashes, and after I found the discount code (Plouise40) I ordered the paris ones as well haha so feel free to use it, it gets you 40% of the lashes! Side note: The paris ones are absolutely beautiful aswell, the box looks a tad different but its only improved and the lashes are to die for!

I love how these lashes look, my favourite lashes are iconics by house of lashes and these one are defiantly tied for first now, they have a very similar shape to the iconics being that they flair out at the outer corners, these ones are just a tad more feathered towards the end of the lashes.

Overall I would deffinatley recommend these lashes, they're great quality and I feel they'd last for ages, especially with the discount code then they're the same price as koko lashes/House of lashes and such better quality!

Thanks for reading,

I did this post a while ago of my top five fave lipsticks, so I thought I'd do it again 3 years later and update you! My lipstick collection has changed quite a bit in three years.  These aren't in any particular order, just my top 5 at the minute!
First off is the MAC Ariana Grande Viva Glam lipstick in deep dark plum (£15.50), I love the colour of this lipstick, it's like a mix of rebel and cyber by MAC. It's the perfect dark purple shade and I love this packaging, this is actually the only thing I've ever bought from a MAC collection and I really like how it just adds something different, and the formula as always with MAC lipsticks is amazing!
Next is another lipstick by MAC (they're my faves in general if you couldn't guess haha) this one is in the shade Brave (£15.50). This is probably the pinkest shade I wear, pink isn't my thing but I really like this one, I generally wear it over the top of soar lipliner. Its a great combo for every day wear and it goes with so many eye looks!
(this colour is waaay more plum toned than the picture!)
This next one is by NARS in the shade Charlotte (£24.00), I wanted a shade like this for ages and I couldn't find the perfect one for months and then I stumbled across this shade in selfridges and really liked the look of it, then I read the name and decided it was fait haha. I love this shade so much, its such a nice deep red. It makes any makeup look a little more classy and put together.
The last MAC lipstick is obviously Velvet Teddy (£15.50), this lipstick is so worth the hype. I don't think theres anything I can say about this lipstick that you haven't heard before, but it is the perfect nude shade, I can wear this with no lipliner no nothing and its just the perfect colour it lasts for ages and its not too matte or too shiny, its actually perfect. I'm obsessed.

The last one is YSL number 3 (£26.00), this shade is pretty much whirl from MAC (which I also love) but with a bit of a shine. Its a darker then velvet teddy so it might not work for everyone as an everyday go to shade but I'd wear grey lipstick everyday and not think twice so I can't really comment haha. I love this shade I like to wear it on nights out, mostly because it fades so so lovely and I don't have to worry about getting the ring of doom around my lips and touching up my makeup while I'm drunk!

Thats it for my top 5 favourite lipsticks, maybe I'll do an update in another three years haha,

Today I'm reviewing the second Plouise makeup video, I wasnt planning on doing another review for these videos but I thought you might like to know how it compares to the first one, if its worth buying if you already bought one of them or if its pretty much the same as the first one!
This video is on their 'Signature look' which is the video that I was most excited for personally as its a look I see so often on instagram, and I just couldn't figure out how they do it! Much like every other look they post haha

I really don't feel that this was a waste of money even though I also bought the first one, it has a lot of new techniques and its such a different look altogether, they use some different products but quite a few of them are the same. In this video they have added a little zoomed in screen as you can see in the picture above which really helps see little details you might have missed if this wasn't included!

This video isnt on the site Vimeo like the last one,  this is on the actual Plouise website,  it doesn't make too much of a difference, you do have to sign up again but its pretty simple and the payment is easily done through PayPal! I did have a bit of an issue with the video freezing and turning black but that could just be bad wifi, it was also easily fixed by refreshing the page!

I feel like with this video I learnt a few new techniques, where as in the last video I didn't feel I learnt new techniques it was more just techniques I've already seen and showing how they do them. But with this one I did think there was more new things that I wouldn't of done before and not really heard of which is nice especially when you're paying for the videos, its good to have new information and not just the commonly known techniques you see all over YouTube!

The brows were already done in this video and said that they will be explained in another video all about fluffy brow but I thinks that the only thing that was left out, again they covered the full face so eyeshadow, eyeliner, base, false lashes, foundation, bronzer highlighter and lips. It was a very detailed video, much like the last one.

I think i'm going to get FOMO (fear of missing out) with these videos and I will probably end up with all of them even though I said i wouldn't, but thats not the worst thing in the world. They are very good videos, I still think 48 hours isn't enough time especially paying £19.99 for this one but I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too!

And like last time here is my recreation of the look in the video,

I really like the look of this and I feel like these colours make my eyes pop! I'll defiantly be trying out this one again.
